Recently I have been getting a lot of emails asking if Ruggies carpet actually keeps a in place on carpet. I thought that was a great question and I wanted to go more into detail with it.
I had tried a lot of products that I hoped would keep my rugs in place and would keep the corners down. The other products I used worked well on my linoleum flooring, but they didn’t work well on my carpet. It seemed like I would never be able to find something that would work on the carpet.
The main reason that the other products didn’t work to keep my rugs down on my carpet was because of all the walking and crawling that goes over them. My kids are always roaming around the rugs in their rooms. The rugs are their favorite place to play.
Plus, the vacuum cleaner would move the corners and the edges of the rugs up then I would be able to stick it back down. But that only lasted for a little while because the tape would loose its stickiness. Then I would have to replace all of the tape, which was also a pain to do. I hated there wasn’t a product that would actually work.
One thing that I really like about the Ruggies carpet grippers is that the grippers will work on any size or shape of rug. My town home isn’t that large so my rugs range from 5ft by 7ft to 1ft by 2ft. I also have circular and oval rugs. The Ruggies carpet grippers are designed to fit corners. So for my rectangle and square rugs they fit nicely. When I put the Ruggies on my circular and oval rugs I place at the top and bottom and then on each side. It works exactly like on my rugs.
I love that once I put the Ruggies on and stick them to the ground I don’t see them anymore. I used non-slip rubber textured material underneath my rugs in the kitchen once and that only worked to keep the material in place. My rug would still move around on top of the non-slip material.
What makes the Ruggies carpet grippers different is that it is similar to a suction cup. The side of the Ruggies that sticks to the rug has Tacky Grip Polymer Technology, which is exclusive to Ruggies, while the side that grips to the floor has hundreds of suction cups that grip to floor surfaces like carpet, tile, linoleum and hard wood. The Ruggies are great because they also don’t leave any stick residue behind.
The Ruggies are also reusable. If they ever loose grip all that has to be done is to wash them with soap and water and they will be like new again. That made sense to me because I have my GPS suction cupped to my window and sometimes it looses its grip too. When I used tape I had to go back to the store to buy more and with the Ruggies I won’t have to spend any more money.
I have been using my Ruggies carpet grippers for a few months now and the Ruggies are still sticking great like the first day I put them on. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to keep their rugs in place.
